Nau mai, hoki mai ki tō tātou nei Wānanga! 

Mai i Waitapu ki Rangataua, mai i Mīria-te-kakara ki Whitireia, whakawhitia Te Moana o Raukawa, ki Wairau, ki Whakatū. Te Wānanga o Raukawa was established by the Raukawa Marae Trustees in 1981 as an extension of Whakatupuranga Rua Mano, the iwi health and wellbeing strategy of the ART Confederation. This is an opportunity for descendants of our founding iwi to reconnect and find out what makes your Wānanga unique in the Aotearoa education space.

    Passports


    Register upon arrival in Te Ara a Tāwhaki and receive a Passport. Take this passport with you as you visit academic whare and have it stamped by each whare. Once completed return it to the entry kete, located on the front mahau of Te Ara a Tāwhaki to go into the draw to win TWoR branded prizepacks, made especially for our A.R.T whānau!

    Enrolment Prize Draw


    All Enrolment Applications recieved on the day for any semester two course will go into a prize draw to win a TWoR branded prizepack.


    All prizes will be drawn on the day at 1.45pm on the mahau of the building Whitireia.


    Criteria:

    • Prizepacks cannot be exchanged for cash

  • 2025 Study Scholarship

    Attendees can enter the draw for a 2025 Study Scholarship. The winning entry will be drawn on the day.


    Criteria includes:

    • Must be a new enrolment for study into a three-year poutuarongo (degree), or two-year tāhuhu (master's degree) with Te Wānanga o Raukawa. The scholarship will apply to the first year of study in the 2025 year. 
    • The recipient does not need to be at the draw, which will close at 1.30pm on Saturday 11 May 2024.
    • The winner will be notified shortly afterwards.The scholarship amount does not include course related costs.
    • Funds are credited against the students' fees account. 
    • The value of the scholarship will vary dependant on the selected programme of study, covering course fees only, credited to the students’ fees account in the 2025 year.
    • The scholarship is not transferable. It cannot be exchanged or refunded and is only valid for study in the 2025 year. Consideration will be given for fees free eligibility.
